My Friend was worried about her sugar intake.
I said: Listen carefully because I hear this all the time and its not to be confused...
Sugar in fruits is fine.
- Avoid sugar if its been isolated/removed from the plant. This is when one should avoid sugar due to the long term negative health effects.
Sugar in fruits or any other plant is fine! - The plant releases sugar into your blood stream at a trickle when its in whole form. Blood sugar is not an issue when you eat fresh whole fruits. You dont need to worry about it.
On the other hand, eat something that has been processed or refined and its just gonna be like leaves to a fire - they burn up in a second and die as quickly as it came.
Believe this because this is true! - If your diabetic - eating fruit will cure your diabetes! - The opposite of what people think is true.
If you are diabetic stop eating meat and other animal products because this will spike insulin more than sugar can. also stay away from refined foods like pasta, sugar ect.
Health has very little to do with "this thing" or "that thing" and has more to do with just living a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
Whole foods - regardless of its sugar content (Plants -as they are - fresh - raw - whole.) will cure it all, by giving the body everything it needs to heal.
The only exception to that but not really is Dryed-fruit.
Not really because its Not a Whole-food anymore.
The water has been removed.
Avoid Dryed fruit if you want to keep your sugar intake low because it acts differently then fresh (whole) plant foods and sugar content is a issue then.... Where it has been refined (processed - dryed).
But Fresh Is Fine. Beneficial.
Its note worthy that Juicing will also raise your blood sugar faster than eating the whole fruit would.
The fiber content in the plants control the speed at which sugar gets into your bloodstream.
So if you want to manage your blood sugar levels and still juice, then juicing more vegetables than fruit would be your go-to. .... Mmm Carrot juice! ...
But still I wouldnt worry too much about it as juicing is taking the essence of the plant (Structured Water) and leaving the structure (fibers) behind. So you can consume more of the energized & alive water which is structured with vitamins, minerals, enzymes, bio-photons, anti-oxidants and more.
Its Water that has been pulled up into the plants fibers which absorb the radiant sun light, storing the encoded light into the water and structuring the water with minerals vitamins ect.
I hear doctors and many people confuse sugar with the sugars in the fruit. They just arent the same in terms of the effects it has on one body.
I recommend researching what I spoke about perhaps you will find something to confirm or contradict what I say... I'd love to hear what you come up with in regards to the information.
You can post it in the comment section below.
Warm regards.
